The Internet platform www.transgen.de was designed and developed for the office TransGen (science communication), serving as an independent information source on genetic engineering in the food sector. A complex CMS including versioning and several plant and law databases are central components of the project.

Cornfield as an E-learning element
In the context of bioSicherheit.de a Flash animation was developed along with comic illustrator Harald Schröder, to depict scientific coherences in a cornfield. The animation features an intuitive view of different areas of detail, which are linked to further information of the website biosicherheit.de

GMO Compass
An Internet portal with background information on quality and safety of genetically modified foods. The project was sponsored by the EU within the scope of the Sixth Framework Programme (Priority 5: Food Quality and Safety). One core element is the database on the authorization of genetically changed plants in the EU. The relatively complex authorization process can be comprehended with the help of interactive animations.

Stadtentwicklung Sachsen-Anhalt
Result presentation of the urban building research project "Presence and future of urban development in Saxony-Anhalt". Local particularities were researched in relation to generally important values of the cities Magdeburg, Halle and Dessau. The project was sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

An information portal was developed for the consumers' initiative "Verbraucher Initiative e.V.". At the center is a database with all authorized additives in the European Union. Relevant questions of application, production, composition and especially health risks are cleared up for consumers.
